I found this exhaust for sale brand new for $300 for bolt ons. I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about this brand or have heard this exhaust on a busa. I have heard this exhaust on a 600 (sounded pretty good) but know that there is a huge difference between that and a busa. I really don't care about hp gain, I just want something to sound good, looks descent, and doesn't cost a lot. Any opinions on this would be helpful.

Those are known as the "cheap exhaust". I would personally be embarrassed to use them. They where the cheapest ones on ebay when i looked. So cheap in fact that i passed them by. From what i can see from the pics of them, the carbon fiber is verry thin and the rivets and ribbons are also small and it will probably not last the life of the bike. If you get them let me hear a sound clip. They are real carbon fiber though. Looks good for a track bike.

When you see PITECK turn the other way. Simply look at their feedback, it says it all. He blatantly says that if you want perfect stuff or even halfway decent fitting parts then don't buy his cheap stuff. Just read the feedback. I have their undertail on my bike and it is by far the worst fitting piece I have ever bought for my baby. If I didn't already have it custom painted I would've snatched it off long ago. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.

I got the CF dash panels...........and they suck !!!!!!!! They came with a sticker on them that said "made in peru". All I could picture is some poor bastard in the ghetto making carbon fiber parts for pennys a day.

Ok so heres what I've learned in the last 30 seconds of reading this thread. PITECK =

You know anyone that use this exhaust? Cheap labor converts to cheap price, it may be made in China. Look at D&D exhaust, regular priced but cheap quality.

Come on now, don't hold back. Say what you all really mean.

This stuff must be some real junk! Guess I'll pass.

I have the Pit-Eck slip-ons. I have the polished stainless ones. I needed a cheap replacement exhaust as mine was smashed when a jerkoff in a Yukon broadsided me one morning. As far as fit goes, they were fine. As far as sound goes, they werent much louder than my stock 07 exhaust. They were so quiet I opened them up and removed the fiberglass packing hoping for some better sound. Barely any difference. Its up to you--if youre looking for something with a little deeper rumble than stock than theyre fine.

I have installed the pit-eck on my hayabusa - the stainless steel type - and it works very well and very good sound since almost nine months.
Very frankly i have friends that have installed the carbon fiober type on the gsx-1000 and they have had problems but from my side, i am very satisfied.
