POLISHED STOCK CANS

For support I build a jig using three pieces of wood nail together in a U shapeto to craddle muffler covered with a rag or you can hold it between your legs.

MAN AT THE TIME PUT INTO THIS, ID BE SCARED ATTEMPT IT. IT CANT BE THAT DIFFICULT THOUGH. IVE GOT A SPARE SET OF WHEELS ID LIKE TO POLISH THE LIP ON THEM BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I COULD SCREW UP A GOOD SET OF WHEELS REAL EASY

one more tip. Use dishwash gloves if you have not wet sanded before. Will safe alot of skin from for finger tips.

thanks Rythym
I went over it again with the 1500 and 2000 grit since that pic and polished the hell outta it. Looks way better and very happy with the results. Next is the pegs and maybe frame..
I was cursing you for giving me the polish bug!

you can not get rid of the stamped warning... the metal is altered by the stamping process and is physically different than the surrounding metal... we fought this with anodizing on our race car parts, welds will also do this..

props for the hard work and the great polish job... certainly more than I could pull off
