Polishing stock cans

hey man...by the looks of the stock cans, it appears that you'll have to do alot of sanding to get the machine tool lines out. those babies look pretty deep!

if your that bored, then think about doing the frame or swing arm! i'd think you'd wanta put a after market pipe on it anyway. you know....performance

cross the state line, i'll show ya how to polish that baby up!

Hey guys,

What does anodize mean in regards to changing the surface or paint of metal?

There is a company (coyote something) that anodizes parts for you. I saw some impressive work via the web site. Will try to locate actual site name.

viol8r, The powdercoat finish that I had done on a Harley frame had to be sprayed on after
the frame was heated to 400 degrees farenheit
How hot do the cans get? if not over 300 degrees I think it would be alright. At least that is what I was told.

I heard that Mi-Ti-M a pressure washer company in Peosta Iowa does powder coating for people. My pressure washer looks like new still after 13 years and I've run a lot of acid though it. I also keep it clean.
I'm going to check with them but I've been pretty busy :(
Thanks for the info guys.
