I have a similar problem. 2nd gear "slips" at 7grand, 3rd & 4th at 8grand wide open throttle.
Took it to a dealer, service manager couldn't get it to "slip", but there was too much traffic on the freeway for him to totally get on it. He said to take it to a dyno since I seem to be the only one who can make it "slip". I have a new chain & sprocket and a new clutch. He said if it was the shift fork or the tranny, the "slip" would be jerky. Its not jerky, its a smooth "slip". Dissconnected PC3r, took off air filter, still slippy. possible problems;
1)fuel filter
2)clutch master/slave cylinder
3)clutch plates installed incorrectly
4)needs a good fuel map
5)tranny/shift forks
