my mate Jimi, 9 years old. had him since he was 4 months, Jack Russell terrier/Bichon cross. HATES cats and the Post lady on her bike lol.
He's got a mind of his own, disobedient and only comes if there is something in it for him. Very loyal and affectionate though.
and this one is Loui, a 13 year old Jack Russell/ Bichon cross also gnarley little bugger,, he's much easier to control, loves his food and his walks but not to keen on anyone getting too close to him, hates children, unpredictable, but trusts me totally.

Well , I just got to say we humans are very lucky to have such unrequited loving creatures in our lives , and just this fact alone makes picking up their turds all the more acceptable

Thanks. It does suck. I'm stuck at work until Friday morning too.
Very sorry to hear this. I lost my St. Bernard at 12 years in 1981. She was a real friend and I still miss her.

This isn't the first time I've posted this here, but this brought me comfort when I lost the best friend I've ever had. Hope it helps.......
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

Sorry to hear it bro.Lost mine last year(3 weeks shy of 14)and tore me up.Had him cremated and he sits right here next to my computer.
