Well, I didn't do much group riding. But they were fun anyway.
Intro shot. On the shore of Portage lake, south of Anchorage and in the spring.
Here is the actual lake, the road down there is made up of about 10 miles of 120mph sweepers off the main highway.
But I've only been down that way once, so far. It's about 60 miles out of town.
Here is a shot of the road to Girdwood along Turnagain Arm, the highway hugs the cliff all the way, about 45 miles.
A bit more to the right.
Oh yeah, she was there too.
And open ocean!
Ahh summer, from the same spot, Beluga Point they call it.
And a nice parting shot.
I like to make that run as often as possible. And next year, this one is going down there:
