If you come out to the Bash and get to know others here! Then you would get the joke! WE ARE ALL A GOOD GROUP OF PEOPLE HERE AND ENJOY HAVING FUN!

I may win the furthest riden if Schnizzle doesent make it, think my bike may be my only way there, the ol Subi aint cut out for haulin:whistle:

That is a mini revo body on there, it my spare for mine. love that car its super tough.

I have never ridden with a group bigger than 4 people and currently ride with no one. That trip would be fun but not sure how i would do in that big of a group. What is the average skill of rider out there? or speed for that matter? i tend to putz a bit not on purpose it just kindof happens.

The average is well, average leaning toward the skilled side, depending on which sub group you go out with. A few guys there will ride the tires of thier bikes. Macon is just one of many that will get knee's down all over the place.

Conversly, Everyone is more than happy to, and encourages you to ride your own ride at meet at the destination. I rode the dragon with some great riders, I fought the fatty all the way, Greenbean was more than happy to sit on my tail so i didnt have to worry what was behind me.

When i was new to group rides, i hung to the back to learn the rules and tendencies of groups.

there are riders at all different skill levels but everyone is welcome...it generally doesn't take long to figure out approximately where you fit in (we encourage everyone to ride their own ride where they are comfortable)... the group takes off and the leaders hold up at the next turn and wait for everyone to catch up and then the group takes off again...we look out for each other and everyone gets to have a great time

also, you will find lots of chances to pick up tips to improve your skills...there are always those around that are more than willing to answer questions, give advice, or help you figure out how to get to the next level...overall, this is the best group of people i've ever been involved with! :beerchug:

Most of my Busa Bash rides have been in the 6 to 10 bike range. Small groups like that will head out for different types of rides and destinations in the morning. When the sun goes down we all gather at the Phillips Motel for food & drink, sitting around the fire pit, working on bikes, and just hanging out. :beerchug:

Getting in the road and doing big smoky burnouts are not recommended. Sorry, Bash history...

I think the person with the most miles to the Bash was a guy who rode his Honda Rune from San Diego in 08. I can't remember his name. There is also BABUSA who lives in the Bay area who flew out to Asheville, bought an orange 08, attended the Bash, and rode back to Cali.

I've been riding since i was a kid and on the street from early 20s. Never took a class. So i've been reading the tips and tricks sections. Tons of good info there. So i can only imagine what some face time may do for me.

In another post about track riding mentioned taking an advanced class, i think i may do that this summer. Not sure if there are any entry level track classes around here but i may have to look for those also. being a better rider would make me happy and my wife happy.

The guy that flew out did the bash then rode back deserves a big :thumbsup: thats good stuff right there.

Taking a track day is SO much fun, everyone should do it. And yes they def. have beginner level "classes"
DO IT!!

Yep you need to plan a 'sick weekend' somewhere around ohhh late april. G/f and I will be attending our first Bash; however, we don't have the distance to go that you do. I'm looking forward to it.

Ok i will actually look into it and how long the ride will be and such... I don't believe in trailers so has to be round trip ride for me.
