I got my '06 for $9299 + tax&tags about 3 weeks ago.

I bought my 06 new over a year ago, $9,400 plus tax and tag, no dealer BS charge (shipping, assembly, etc..). I will see if I can find a link for the shop down in Okeechobee FL...

(wecruisin @ Apr. 09 2007,19) The dealer that has 3 in stock is in VA, while I'm in NC. So most likely I'll just have to pay the NC tax when I get tags for it i guess.

I checked progressive online  for insurance and it quoted $2600 a year, that was full coverage but with the highest deductibles and lowest coverage. That's outrageous. I'll have to give my Farm Bureau agent a call and get a quote. I have my Mustang, Gixxer 600, and house insured with him.

State Farm is the only way to go (been said a gazillion times around here).

Just get an 07... unless you're in love with the 06 models. I have an 06 I'll sell ya for 8.5k. I'd use the money to pay it off and get an 08. But I can't say it's been babied, never been down, or kept below the speed limits.... haha!

Paind 9,500 otd in october.... from what i would call an "expensive" dealer, should be able to get it between $9,000 and $9,500 otd anywhere now

State farm here also, I pay 178/6mos with $500 ded

Also, not sure about all States, but in Florida, they even cover trackday, unless it's a santioned race event.

Quick update guys. I'm picking up my new 07 Busa next Thursday. Making a drive to get it, but no dealers around here would drop to what I was willing to pay. I know I gotta remove the reflectors and the mud flap first. Can't wait to get it!!!

I'm getting it for $1k less OTD than the local dealer wanted just for the bike and no tax or anything.
