did not find this in a search, wondering since the Busa is set up for 87 octane, with the pc3r could you advance timing to where you would need say 92 octane. i remember in the 5.0 mustang days you would advance timing about 4-5 degrees and get 8-10 horsepower and maybe be 2-3 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile. mileage would also pick up, the downside is you had to use premium gas. what do you guys think?
 
I know on my 1000 when we dynoed it I had a map in there that I downloaded frome someone on the internet and it had +1 or +2 in the timing and my tuner took it back to zero and picked up like 3-4 horse this was also running 94 fuel and the dreaded T word.
 
i have a 1000 also but with it's compression it already has to use premium so i don't see how advance would help it much without getting into detonation.
