Don't forget to use the buttons on your PCII to fine tune it when you get the map in...
I had issues finding the right map, but I ended up getting it pretty smooth by tuning it with the buttons.
Simply load the map and then if you smell gass in certain ranges. Take note of what RPM band you were in. If you were rich in the mid range (4-7k), hold down the center button and drop it a bar. One bar makes a big difference, so take it one notch at a time appropraitaly... When you first turn the PCII on and you go to tune it, you will find that the bars are all at 0. This is to indicate the deviation from the map loaded. So when you drop a bar in the mid, you are leaning the map out in those ranges...
Give it a go!

Yea, I see what you mean.that is the biggest problem with a PC2 by using the sensors to add and subtract fuel no two bikes will ever be the same due to weather.
PC2 really do need a custom map.
I did have some customers mix and match several different maps. like one ran good at 3K other one ran good at 5K and just made their own .
I noticed that too. 'Funny that the PC folks swore up and down to me earlier this year that there were no plans for a PCIII on the '99-'00 bikes.... I saw that they have IIIusb version for the 2000 model. ...
