Power Commander worth it? Help!!!!

thanks guys I am writing all of this stuff down as we go along. my biggest concern is the touch. My legs sweat after awhile wearing jeans and i don't know of anyone else who has that issue. So maybe I am not running hot, I am running normal. But since it was knocked over, it has not been right since.

pull the old drag race trick and wire the fans to a switch. then you can turn them on when you want and if you forget they will still come on when the temp sensor tells them too.

these bikes are made to run at 1/2 on the temp guage.

not trying to blast ya but i think a lot of it is in ur head.

if it was really getting to me i would drain it put watter wetter in it, muzzy fan and above mentioned switch.
im in Tennessee where it gets about 100-110 in the summer and i can ride all day long

It might be in my head, but the problem is the heat isn't. Before the accident, it would not be that hot. Tomorrow is the big day, so findout soon.

hopefully they will get it fixed. you can still do the watter wetter, fan and switch mod

Have you checked the level in the overflow? How’s the color look? What part of the bike is too hot to touch? The gauge part makes us all believe that its running fine. The part you said about not being able to start it until it cooled off tell me that you most likely had vapor loc (where the liquid fuel in the line gets hot enough to vaporize). For that to happen it would most defiantly be running hot. Be glad you got the warranty and don’t forget to keep us in the loop.

Charlie,
I did not check anything on the bike. I basically can't. I dont have the proper place to fix my bike, hence the extended warranty..lol.. I wrote down what everyone was saying to me, so I think I should be in good shape to get it fixed this time. I hope so. Drop off today..

See before, the bike never got warm, now.... in my crotch area and along the sides (where our legs are) gets so hot they sweat.. during the winter time riding.. I am not talking Tenn, 100 degree or Texas, 108.. Im talking Philadelphia, winter 40 degree, legs are sweating.. then last week sprocket was so hot it steamed the chain lube off of it.. i know that is bad...lol.. so that is what I am referring to... as in heat, not the gauge but the actual heat off of the bike..
