Woke up thinking about your Dad today; I hope things turned around for the better last night. He's in my thoughts and prayers :please:

I pray he is doing better this morning. (((hugs)))
 
All normal stuff.
Surgeon just operated on that area and things will swell.
Dont worry.
He'll be ok ...

Best wishes for your Dad. Sounds like he is in the recovery stages.

There are no "gun accidents", only "gun carelessness". If you haven't visually checked the chamber for a round, and verified it is empty, the gun is still loaded and potentially deadly.
