Pros&cons of hayabusa

Good for you Ducbil. With the discounts dealers are offering on brand new '07's with full warranty (20%), and the easy $85/mo-2 yr financing plan, the '07 is the choice I made too.

Besides, the '08 won't go any faster than the '07, and the '07 has all the factory updates.
Happy trails!

I too chose the '07 over the '08. Figured after all the years of making the same bike they must be doing something right. Not to mention I love the blue color!

(stlbusarider @ Jul. 24 2007,19:19) There is one major con to the hayabusa:

The inability to stop buying upgrades!!!!!
AMEN!!! it's really tough to keep it stock. I've heard there are a few guys out there but sometimes I think they're like the elusive big foot!

I work with a guy who owns a black/purple. All he's done is change the windscreen to a double-bubble. Other than that - it's bone stock. Reflectors and warning stickers are still on...

no pic, no facts.. j/k... I know a few out there that haven't done any mods, etc but it's a select few. You can easily get the bug and then it never seems to end...

(omslaw @ Jul. 24 2007,07:46) Actually, flash to pass and hazards were added to the '04.  Headlight cut-out started in '05.

Go for a Blue/Silver - they're the fastest color!

great power???
you have obviously not opened it up yet -- or it would have read "holy shi7"

I have a blue 07 although I really wanted a black one but I didnt wanna wait. But the blue has grown on me now. Im not too crazy with mods since I have a unfnished car project that keeps asking for more power parts.

black is probably the sharpest looking of the mono colors, and the debate over which is the fastest color will go on until the rest of the colors finally catch up with the '00 blue & silver. may take a while.
