Pulled Trigger on ECU Editor

So, I go into work today and found out that my evaluation that was due 4 months ago is finally finished and im getting retro pay for my step raise which means I should be expecting a nice chunk of money in the next few days.

That being said I decided my next mod was going to be the ECU flash from BoostBySmith. Dont NEED a new tune and really only looking to do a few of the extras like derestrict and maybe the pairvalve; however, for the cost of it its worth just getting a new tune right away. I'll post pics of the dyno results next week after the tune.

Also thinking about maybe getting rid of the PCV that is currently on it if anyone is interested let me know.

Im working with a local tuner to do the ECU editor next week. If he feels comfortable enough to do it then i'll get rid of the PCv..

Think it runs over $300 NEW so maybe $100-150?? I'll keep you posted after next week.

I dont drag race so the quickshifter is overkill for me at this time at least...

if you are not going to tune it yourself just buy the harness (12.00) and the tuner will have the flasher

Off subject but what options do I have for an 01 can it be reflashed or do I have to get a pc and a tre

You can only Flash from 2002 and up unless you get 2002 and up rotor and pick up. If you do a seach, some of the guys have already done that or you can get PC but dont worry about TRE

rotor the pick up is the same

pick up a wideband and you can give the autotune option a go

Had an issue with the tuner (See other post) so im keeping the PCv for alittle while til I can get out to another tuner that I can trust. Thinking about xtrememachines or Powerhouse.
