ECU Editor: Auto Tune - First Version Ready for Release

Sweet, way to go fellas~!~

I ran into this issue using DJ autotune and had to disable the lower throttle % where it wanted to keep dumping fuel to compensate for deacceleration.

When you're hard in the throttle then chop it close to 0% the AFR meter shoots to 99 for a second, the autotune picks this up and dumps more fuel.

I specifically look at recorded session sections where the RPM is level or rising on mine.

Justin, what would be needed for a Gen 1 to be able to do autotune and datalog once you guys have ported it to Gen 1 ecu? Wideband sensor or narrowband? What else?

not sure just yet until i get my hands on the ecu and start thinking about how this will work for gen 1. I will let you know when i have some ideas.

It should be pretty easy to create a filter for this, I will take a look at it over the weekend. I will make it selectable so you can choose if you want the filter applied or not. I think this will work well in the TPS-RPM Auto Tune section.

jkwool,

With a Wide Band O2, do I use the narrow band output from my WB O2 hooked up to the factory O2 sensor wire? This should allow me to get an accurate reading while under boost (3-bar GM sensor ECUEditor boost control)

Can it be made to work with a wideband that has a 0-5v out?

For Gen 2 and B-King I have made a change to the ecu code that allows you to use either the stock narrowband sensor OR the 0-5v output from a wideband O2 sensor, obviously you will get more accurate results if you use the wideband as it has a linear response over the full 0-5v and I use the full width of the 10 bit AD sensor (i.e. 0-1023) vs the narrowband 0-1v and 8 bit value (0-255). This is how it was developed and is available now in ECU Editor

If I added a wideband, would I be able to run the autotune on a gen 1?

this is going to kick ass if he gets this sucker going for us gen 1 guys. here's another question, will it at some point be able to automatically adjust for minute changes in temp, baro, altitude, etc? sort of like closed loop?
