Purchased a set of cut forks!

I just purchased a brand new set of forks that have been cut down 2". My stock ones are gold and ill be selling them soon.
Will these be ok for street use?

Yes you can street ride cut forks but get ready for a rough ride. My 1K has cut forks and periodically I ride it to work

I have a set of galfer brake lines on it now and there a lil to long had to strap them to the forks. Are the after market lines longer... Just curious if i need to buy new lines when i install the new forks.

You can custom order a set of proper length brake lines from Galfer or other makers.
I have HEL lines on mine. Great quality, great price.
