Any young lady that rolls on a busa has my respect as a driver, that's your one mistake for this week. The guys at the garage have probly never even been over 125 mph, just busa envy. LOL Glad all is well

Where are you driving in Gulfport on those dirt roads? I used to live just off Pass Road outside of Keesler AFB and had some fun dirt roads to ride my dirt bike on.

It is actually off of a road called Mennonite Rd.... which is paved.. but the road leading to the kid's house is a dirt rd. Up north off of Hwy 53... rememeber I work for the county school district!

Does the bus have a rear hand brake? If it does you can partially engage the rear brake to apply resistance to the free spinning wheel. That will force some of the torque to be transferred to the other wheel. I've had to do that a few times to get open axle vehicles up slippery hills.

It's got a hand brake but I'm not sure if it is for the rear wheels. I found a new turnaround spot today.... away from the ditch!

Up here in the North, I remember that the school buses had "sand pipes" in front of the back wheels for traction on ice.
