Has anyone fit the Pyramid hugger to the 2022 Hayabusa?

According to the 2022 fiche, the Gen. 3 rear swingarm has the same part number as Gen 2: 61000-24F50-YAP

I ordered the Pyramid Hugger from UK and as predicted by the part numbers above, the 2008 version fits the 2022 Busa perfectly.

On the chain side, it bolts into the three bosses on the swing arm where the factory chain guard mounts.

On the right side, there is a adapter bracket included in the kit which is secured by the bolt that secures the brake hose.

It's very glossy and matches the paint work well.

Tire huggers, I can't use any lol. 60 and 65 profile tires won't let me. Maybe one day someone will make a XL size one. My tires will just have to run naked hahaha.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a 65 profile tire! Do you have a picture? That bike must roll over like a puppy with those high tires on her!
Yup! It's the Pirelli WSBK slicks sizing. Extra tall front and rear. Massive tires. For those extra grippy days. With the high profile tires I dont find that much of a difference compared to smaller lighter bikes. My Busa flicks as fast as I can throw her into the corners. People at the track are always surprised I'm not exhausted at the end of the day throwing my Busa around. Busa becomes quite light handling on high profile tires.

I had to get the LEDs installed, and the on off switch, and get a few things wired underneath that tail, and I finally got the hugger installed.

The one thing I will recommend, over drill the holes because the factory bolts on the swing arm on the left won't fit in the holes drilled. You'll have to oversized by about four or five steps. The installation is fairly straightforward, fits like a glove, my only complaint is that it doesn't have a forward chain guard like the tiger racing that I bought. I'd like to find someone that's good at fiberglass work and have them build me a chain guard extension that goes up past the rear set up to the frame. Keep chain fling to a minimum.

Other than that, a nice addition, it fits like a glove.

The cops are going to hassle you over a piece of plastic?

They must really have nothing else to do.
My friend you can't imagine how things go here at times. On popular routes, there are a number of police buses waiting on the side of the road. Mass controls without end. They literally crawl into your bike, checking every accessory, the volume. In Germany, motorcyclists are hunted down. We have become something like enemies of the state here. Especially since we are also defending ourselves against electromobility, they want to make an example here. I swear to you, the cops are even trying to find something on perfectly correct bikes or to harass you.

Everything in Europe needs a number, an approval! Bureaucracy to the last! Also the reason why many manufacturers of motorcycles withdraw or accessories manufacturers no longer offer partsm or only with the note "Racetrack only"
