Pyramid Hugger

From here, cant even imagine that..would be a revolt
Revolt? Not in Germany anymore! They brought up the Germans to be lazy, listless and sometimes ... sorry that I have to say that so hard ... stupid. Here demonstrations are portrayed by the media as evil, you can see very well when it comes to corona and forced vaccinations. Every protester is portrayed as a racist and conspiracy theorist. Only when the eco-fanatical kids demonstrate at Fridays for Future, or left-wing groups are on the streets, even when cars are on fire and windows are smashed ... then of course that is something completely different. In general, however, the German has his soccer ball, a beer, his VW on the doorstep ..... then the world could burn, it doesn't matter, he has his sluggish life. And when the media have been telling you for 20 years that motorcyclists are all speeders, idiots, enemies of the state and are only good as organ donors, the citizens will believe it at some point. When old bureaucrats rule a country, nothing else can come of it.

If it were me, I'd be waving good bye to where you live and be looking to emigrate...

To be honest, my wife and I have thought about it a lot. We don't really feel at home here anymore! I used to love living in Germany and I enjoyed growing up there. But the country is becoming more and more superficial, more and more eco-fanatical, we are moving ever further into the left corner when it comes to politics. Freedom is only the case when you shut up and don't ask questions. Only ..... we have three children, one is four years before graduation, the big one 5 years before that ....... the little one needs another 10 years .... the question is, will you tear it up? the country, in a different language, in a different environment? Can I take my motorcycle with me into the country, my car ... what about my mother who would be alone here with an A ***** from father? And you also need money, you can't go to another country with little money. But I think without children, we would have set sail a long time ago. Canada or the USA ..... that would be our wish. We can work hard and you have to do that everywhere, I know that well. But I just want to have that feeling of freedom again. Sure ... it's just a TV show, but when I'm there for example See Yellowstone and the wide open country. I always say to my wife "give me a nice pick-up, my Busa next to it, such a wooden hut and I look forward to coming home every day after hard work". The romantic thinking is clear and the reality is different. Still ... my country, my house, and when I hoist the country's flag because I'm proud to live there, my neighbor doesn't abuse me as a Nazi, as is the case here in Germany.

This is more important..I understand all those feelings, I've restarted life 3 times..was a bitch, but it always was the best decision when the dust settled..and I had for kids at the time, and a wife that was a pure c*nt...

Shes ex times 2 now..lol

Freedom is only applicable when you are free..to think about a total life change is quite scary, but, its gotta be a pro and con thing..I came from Italy..same stuff, everything different and new.

I chose to look at it as a challenge, and adventure..looking back 20 years, glad I did :)

Just a suggestion, move to Southern Nevada. Here in Vegas, we are in dire need of people to work in the casino industry in all positions, simply because so many are still playing games drawing unemployment.

I've always been a hard worker, my wife is too. We're older in our mid 50s and we're still more employable than most that show up at the door to get a job.

If you could move here, get a green card, I'll get you the interview. How's your English?.

My friend you can't imagine how things go here at times. On popular routes, there are a number of police buses waiting on the side of the road. Mass controls without end. They literally crawl into your bike, checking every accessory, the volume. In Germany, motorcyclists are hunted down. We have become something like enemies of the state here. Especially since we are also defending ourselves against electromobility, they want to make an example here. I swear to you, the cops are even trying to find something on perfectly correct bikes or to harass you.

Everything in Europe needs a number, an approval! Bureaucracy to the last! Also the reason why many manufacturers of motorcycles withdraw or accessories manufacturers no longer offer partsm or only with the note "Racetrack only"
That is so crazy! California is pretty strict on mods as well but, most people defy the rules that are ridiculous.

Around here if your car or truck has been modified, the insurance company may not cover you for a claim...not sure about bikes but I'd wager it is the same.

Each and every mod I did to my truck has been documented with my insurance company...if that thing gets written off, I will get the replacement costs of the parts...

Total was $225.25, no eta yet, just ordered today. I’ve been throwing it around for awhile now, watching bowl games and needed some bike parts like a hole in the head, lol.

Yeah buddy, you'll be really impressed with the fit and finish of this particular hugger. I wish the lead chain guide was a little longer and closer to the swing arm but can't beat it.

Just remember to measure the three steps on the three screws on the swingarm chain side, over drill them just a touch, so you'll be nice and loose when you install. when you tighten those down and then you tighten up the right side that connects to the brake line clamp you'll be rather impressed. I sent that to the paint shop too.

Didn't take long to get here.

Hugger arrived today, that was fast, I’ll get it put on in the next couple of days but very impressed with the speed of getting it to me, wrapped up well, very protected, hope this helps anyone on the fence ordering from across the pond like I did.
