Question about N20

I have mounted my bottle almost horizontal. I guess that is acceptable?? Do you need a purge kit with a dry setup? Is it okay to run with the bottle in a horizontal position under the hump? I am new to this nitrous stuff so any help is appriciated.
I have it wired up to my high beam, that way I can use a wide open throttle switch. I am only using a 20 shot. Will this cause the bike to wheelie with a 2 inch stretch? By the way, I weigh about 225lbs in gear.
Any suggestions?

You need to make sure the pickup tube is in the liquid. vertical is best. We sell a regulator that sets the pressure no matter what the bottle pressure is..makes things easy.

Give Daniel a call, the force is with him...

upside is okay as long as you've removed the pickup tube. Horizontal is bad though. With or without a pickup tube at some early point your going to be sucking gas vs liquid if you have the bottle mounted horiz.

I put it under the hump lock (crossbar). It has an upward tilt of probably 30deg. I think that should keep me in the safe zone. I test fired it and got pure vapor so I am hoping that is correct. Next is to do a real test run with it after I get me a clutch. I just hope it doesn't wheelie on me!!!

For starters, the tiger mount will work fine. With a small jet like a .020 it will take forever to empty that 2 lb bottle.

With a little ginding on the latch, you can set the bottle in deeper. The valve will be lower and the bottom of the bottle will be higher. Not perfect but it helps.

With the bottle mounted something like this,it will make power right to the end.

Hey, E Anything on those bottle mounts ?

Sounds like you've got the angle right. You'll always get vapor out of the hose unless your temps drop to a respectable kelvin range.

smitherscustoms found it..I forgot about this thread..;)

they are worth every dime. We put them on every one we do...Its a must have item

I was wondering if it was a pressure pro. That is on my list when I decide to drop the hammer on N2O.

A nice peice,no doubt...But no free lunch.
It does not create pressure,it just maintains it.
Once the volume drops off, power takes a dive regardless of pressure.

I kinda wish I hadn't messed with this whole NOS thing. I am afraid it is going to take some of my consistancy away. But I didn't get it to race with, just kinda play with on test-n-tune nights. But it just seems like gremlins have started popping up since I put it on.
