Questions About My 09 Busa

I have the white one also with a full brocks system and the pc 5. And did it before thre break in period without a problem. :welcome: this a great forum.

Well I want to thank everyone fo rthe great advice and yes the second I have time the slip ons are going on. I will put the PC-V on after the break in is done unless I have a running problem for some strange reason.

Look forward to riding with some of you this season.

pc not needed with slip on: also its not going to hurt anything, because i also have a black 09 and left the dealer with PC, PC tuner, BMC RACE filter, and yosh full system with only test miles.:colgate:

If you install slip on ONLY you do not need anything else.

If you install full system, take a power commander.

It is not necessary to manual tune the bike, since the companies they offer online maps for your system, like akrapovic

Also, if it backfires a little bit during deceleration, make sure you plug the PAIR intake tube with a marble or a pen cap. Feel free to hit me with any more questions.

Is that a good idea with only slipons? The cat convertor is still on there.

Well I got the slip-on's installed. Was alittle interesting of an install. Alittle more involved then the one's on my last bike. They sounded great for the few seconds running in the garage at 3:30am.......:-)

I will get out for a few miles today and see just how awsome they are. Oh yeah still in the 30's here......:-)

Will let you know how they work out after a ride. And I also got my nice Corbin seat on too. Will make for a better ride except for the freezing temps. Come on Spring. I will be putting some bling on her also that I have as soon as I get some time to do it. And yes I will post pics of it as I get it done.

Get yourself a custom map and tune and you may find just how far out your bike actually is
Downloaded maps are just a lucky dip ............... real hit n miss and to be quiet frank any change without having a before and after fuel reading is really just a time waste :rulez:
With "flashing" now readily available the cost saving makes it even more inviting to be riding a correctly tuned bike.

Break in, whats that ????:poke: Nice bike, great color choice. Id say if you can swing the cash go for a full system. There is more than one benefit besides performance, the weight savings. :beerchug:

I do have a Power Commander V that will be going on once it is broke in and serviced. I already put there map on for the slip on's I just put on for the PCV. So I should be good once I install it.
