quickshifter for a Power Commander V ?

Hi gang..
I have a 04 Busa, and the Power Commander V,

I was offered a used quickshifter from another Busa (2005) which has the Power Commander III.. do you know if it will fit the PCV?

Tried to find it on the PC website but couldnt..

no, they dont have the same plugins available.

got a reply from Dynjet... yes it fits..

I just cut the connector off and inserted the wires into the PC5..

Im having a bit of a problem when shifting into 5th gear, it doenst always engage (using the quickshifter),
what timings are you guys using for the quickshifter ?

I've never owned a quickshifter so I'm no expert. I see a number of add on quickshifters at the track and for whatever reason problems seem to plague them.

I have a quick shifter through the ECU editor on my Gen 2 and I have it set at 40 milliseconds. I would try higher like 60 to and see if it works.
