Rainbow vacuum cleaner

We got it this evening.Our place is "pretty" clean and the carpet is less than 1 year old,we rarely wear shoes in the house.I couldn't believe the funk we had. I think i saw a chipmunk in the water pan.Nasty!!

We have one...used it faithfully and pretty much every single day (2 Great Danes add to the filth load), but honestly, we both got very tired of cleaning the damn thing...it did work great, and one feature that no other vacuum cleaner has is the option to suck up liquids which is very handy at times...we still have ours, it's 12 years old, but two years ago we bought a Dyson upright and I have no regrets.  I don't ever want to break out that Rainbow again.  If you plan on vacuuming every single day like I do, you may find over time it's just a hassle...it is a good product though; can't say it isn't...

We paid $1100 for ours brand new, so yeah, $1800 is pricey unless they've finally made it so it'll do laundry

If you do not change the water right away, you will regret it. It starts to stink really bad. Does not matter what you suck up, the water turns to some type of funk really quick.
