Ram air effect

I have been 213 at maxton and logged .65 in the air box. 1 psi boost = aprox 11 hp.

I have gone faster without ram air scoops (a/f adjusted and logged). You can only get so much air in the box before it backs up and spills out. The scoops hurt aerodynamics imo.

I do have and use Nicks seals.

when you have a forced air induction system there's no where for the "extra packed air to go but in the enging when the engine needs it. With a NA engine, as kaw mentioned it just spills out. The force of the ramming air is only so much. You could have the biggest box possible to trap/hold the air but it would still spill out at the same pressure level.

I mimick nick's seals with thick tape

ram air = more giggles than results..

you would do better to fold your mirrors in....
