You know I took today to get my baby all caught up on her maintenance and give her a front to back spit polish. Once it was done I took a little 10 minute ride and pushed the top of sixth gear.
Once I got back home and pulled in the garage I was good and sweaty so I had a seat on my stool and got a cold glass of water. Thats when I realized something. I was just staring at it, like you did when you were young and the first girl got undressed in front of you. Haha.
But seriously I got my first Busa back in 2003. Im on my third one now. That bike has been relatively untouched all these years. Ive probably got 200k miles of saddle time on them and it was my first bike. Thats when I had this thought......
After 15 years and all the miles Ive put down on the concrete, every single time I ride one I catch myself smiling under my helmet. That says alot about a product. When you have it a decade and a half and you dont get bored with it, dont take it for granted, and can still walk into a dealership and all the bikes that change every 3 to 4 years dont make you as happy as your Busa????
