rappers in the rock and roll hall of fame??

You must not know music if you can't figure out why rappers are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame...History is that soul music created Rock and Roll,which lyrically has rap housed in it listen to a rock song sometimes and theres rap in it...A bar has to have meaning and 90 % of the time the words rhyme in it be it soul,rock,hard rock,or jazz..They all originated from 1 their just for different genre of people....The net is powerful and alot is written that has never been told or spoken,take a houur one day and do some searching you'll be surprised about music...alot was stolen and used with out credit to the originators...

Thanks for the history lesson Goldenchild. However, Lamb still doesn't understand how a rap artist would get in the ROCK-N-ROLL hall of fame. Lamb certainly isn't dissing all the stolen music by Elvis and the Stones. The early motown musicians make sense because at the time that was considered rock-n-roll. However the latest rap musicians couldn't be further from rock-n-roll. Classical has been around long before rock-n-roll and that has just as many roots in modern music as rhyming does. Wagner moves the soul and noone is thinking of putting him in the rock-n-roll hall of fame. Why, because it's classical music, not rock. Country music has way more in common with modern rock than rap does. The songs are arranged and played almost identically. Alabama should be in the hall of fame. How about Garth Brooks and Waylon Jennings.
Please don't comeback with a Lamb must be ignorant remark or you are just a hater remark. Just because someone has a differing opinion doesn't mean they don't know nothing bout nothing.
We need to set a presedence now or Kanye West will be sleeping in a tent outside the front doors telling anybody who will listen how rock-n-roll he is.

I have to agree here- WE MUST STOP KANYE! I hope he gets tweeted by the pres. as a f**n moron again, that should keep him outta ANY Hall that has anything to do with anyone famous.
