I would not weld that but I would be thankful it didn't break while riding. Can these be welded up?
What would you guys do?This bike was to go towards a harley next week.Gotta go cash how.Would you part out or buy a frame and put it all back together and sell it then?
Ya i dont know what I want to do.Its still fresh.i might speak to the Harley dealer and ask what the difference would be.I would buy a used frame with a good title, they pop up at decent prices on occasion.
That would recoup the most money, but be the most work.
Vs selling as is an cutting your losses.
Parting out can be time consuming.
And as said, that cannot be repaired.
Welding cast material is difficult, and not a strong bond, or safe for the application.
Nah man I'm done.I was contemplating getting away from motorcycles altogether but I'm ready to try a cruiser now.I think the more relaxed vibe has been a few years coming.Ouch, we have seen a few of these recently I believe. Sorry to see that happened to you, especially as you were getting it ready to trade in. Maybe this is a sign you were meant to build your Hayabusa!

I've already done a deal on a Sportster Slook at sport touring bikes, or cruisers with adjustable suspension
