Rear shock mount broke off during shock removal

Call Suzuki. Whine, cry, sound terrified as you tell them it broke while riding and almost killed you. Ask them if they’d like to work something out before you contact your lawyer. :)

Seriously though I wonder how common that is and if Suzuki knows about it? Almost seems like a factory design defect. No matter the year like an outstanding recall on a car they may offer something? Can’t hurt to see if somebody is willing to listen.

Crazy when you know there are many Hayabusas running around out there with a lot of miles on them without this issue...

.......but even one having it is one too many and we know of a few on this board which have had this problem...

Is there any likelihood Zuzuki might warrant the frame?
One just never knows but knowing how these companies work, probably not.

If there was some sort of way to get all the owners together who have experienced this frame break, there might be a chance but that is a tall order.

I have had cast frame welded before on a suzuki with success but it was on a race bike so it didn't need certification if you did have it welded, havin a "legal" frame would come to mind
