funny you ask that, we just spend 2 hrs removing it today, i take some pics tommorow, you would be surprized how fast we can back together. we dropped of the front rim to get straightened today, cost is 65us, super cheap-cant even buy a rim for that, rear was removed and all the dirt taken out of the bead, then they will then go and get powdercoated.

well here it is with the frame cleaned up, just got the forks in today and the triple, the new rear stays are on as well.

Wow the frame looks great now. What did you use to clean it up so well?

GUNK carb medic, sensor safe cleaner and toothbrush, towel and small light brass wire brushes on the rough aluminium, the smother parts we just rubbed out,then we used Ford metal polish we had laying around, and lots of elbo-grease, still needs more done but we will get there. so far we are 8hrs actual time into this bike.

PS...I know its time to mow the lawn!!

we should have it together as soon as the rims and tires get back, well enough to go for a ride down the street...nice it has straight forks and triples on it now.

watch yer frames guys......... mine developed a weld crack in a bad spot 1.5yrs after rebuild...........

we went over this frame up and down, we are fairly confident it is good to the best of our judgement.

Well she is finally done, here are the pics, just need a few more parts painted , but at least it is riding and nice it does..
