Redline Stands, what do you guys think of these stands? price seems right , any disadvantage to these? Which would you prefer the commercial series or the industrial series? It would appear that the only difference between the two is the handle to provide additional leverage, do you feel this is an operational benefit?

I have the industrial stands. No complaints but if I were to get another, I would get the pitbull forward handle stand for ease of use. not real easy to use the rear handle by yourself.

i got pitbulls just cuz they feel so strong and heavy duty ...so u save a few bucks on cheap ones till ur bike falls over and does 800.00 damage ..its an investment u will always use then unless u go to a cruiser.....my 2 cents

I have the Redline industrial and could not be any happier with them. You are partly correct that the handle is added but I believe they also have an extra pair of wheels as well. They are every bit as well built as the Pitbulls. It would be nice if they had a forward handle stand but with a little practice and care getting the bike on and off by yourself is not a problem. Give Ian a call and after talking with him I bet you won't hesitate to buy them.

I have the industrial stands, front and rear. I wish the rear stand had a handle on it to help get the bike up, but maybe it's just because I'm a sissy....

We sell all kinds of stands at our shop and Redline out sales all others combined. Excellent stands, unbeatable price.

i have the Redline commercial stands and they have worked great...they are rock solid...i could see where the handle on the industrial unit would give a little more leverage though

Anybody use their triple tree stand on a Busa? Was looking into T-Rex stands and got an email from them that their's would scrape on the Busa's nose.

Thanks guys for the responses, I think there is a bit of confusion here though, the commercial series do not have the handle, the Industrial series has the handle and the dually wheels.  I can't decide if the handle on the industrial series is all that necessary for a 165 lb guy such as myself to get the Busa up on the stands, I've never put a Busa or any sport bike up on a stand before, now I can see myself tripping over that handle while the bike is sitting on them though, not a pleasant thought.  Ian at Redline said that with a heavy bike like the Busa it's money well worth spent.

you are correct, i had it backwards (edited post to clear up confusion for anyone going through this thread)...it might be well worth the extra $25...i haven't had any problems with mine but i unfortunately have a few pounds on you (over 100

I have the Redline swivel stands and wouldn't trade them for anything. I love the fact that when the bike is up on the front and rear, I can move it around my garage. When I store the bike, I put it on the stands and push it all the way back against the wall to save space. Excellent quality, great product.
