Remembering Don on his birthday.

Don was one of the first people I met on this board....

Me too Charlie...

Same here. We had gone to our first spring bash back in 06 and he was the first person we talked to.
We were looking at his bike, had some rash on it and he told us he had just dropped it in a friends drive way. We got to talking and told him this was our first time up there and he told us he was just a slow poke and we could follow him around since he was from the area and knew the roads.....little did we know

never got to know Don but i feel as though i have from the many here that remember and talk about him, cheers Don on your B-day, one of these days we will meet up. RIP

Happy Birthday Don..

Thank you for always being there for me, You are truly missed my friend..

You will never be forgotten, love you.. Doyle n Mary

I never got to meet this great man y'all speak of but I can tell from the found memories portrayed here he touched the hearts of many. All too often people pass and are not frequently talked about or thought of but Don seems to constantly be in everyone's mind. A great and inspirational man he apparently was and this earth is worse off without him. I hope he is upstairs influencing others to be good as he did here.

RIP Don

Don was also the first member I met. I was down in the area for work on a service call and he set up a lunch at Hooters for me and other members in the area. Tim, Kevin and a couple that worked for Don were all there. Truely a great man that was looked up to by many. He inspired me to be a better man.
Miss you and your words of wisdom my friend. I look forward to listening to your music selection again as we sit around and chat.:beerchug:

I really feel privilaged to have been so close to Don. Most of you only got to hang out with him at Bashes and such, but we rode together all the time. Every time we rode it was another great adventure. Man, I really miss him.

Missing a good man on His birthday....May he ride forever on smooth and twisty roads.

Anyone in touch with the family? How are they doing?

I keep in touch mostly with his oldest son Patrick. They are doing well. I plan on giving Sherry a call in the next couple of weeks. Don's passing is coming up on 2 yrs in Sept.

Happy birthday Don. There are a few new pictures on the facebook site..

Ride on, Don!!
