What's the easiest way to remove that bushing from the passenger footpeg? I know it's pretty simple, but I can't get that sucker out of there.

Isnt there a c-clip holding it . I'll go check for ya, Ken, hold on.

Its a c-clip ! Just push it off from around the rod going through the center of the footpeg connecting it to the rear support hanger.

'Preciate it but that's not the piece I'm talking about, bro! The rubber bushing/gasket that the exhausts connects to.

Would it work to tap it through with a deepwell socket?

Maybe I'm not strong enough, but it wouldn't come out for me.

Oh yeah, now I remember. It does get pushed out!
When I had them chromed I had to push them out before I sent them off to get chromed.

Try spraying or applying something like a liquid between the rubber and the metal piece holding the rubber bushing to help slip it out.

Not 1 screwdriver, but 2 to get set things in motion and then it pulled right through.
