Removing front wheel

If the nuts are unscrewing then you are probably trying to use the wrong nut. Use the inside nut to remove and the outside nut to install.

Best way is to weld them. That way, it will work for loosening or tightening.....

I have a spare motion pro tool..($20 TYD) torque spec on front axle is same as rear 72Ft lbs as I recall? .. (if wrong, I am sure someone can correct me

yup I tried every which way with bolt trick and everything just unloosened on me... unfortunately there are no welders in my vicinity or I'd go that route

Ok the myths are finally revealed

FRONT TIRE REMOVAL (the cheap easy way)

1) 5/8 inch Bolt and nuts and a 5/16th's socket
2) the key is to use two crescent wrenches or open socket with opposing force cinch the nuts together tightly
3) as above us inside nut to loosen putting the bolt in the bike front wheel socket
4) as above to tighten use outside nut and torque to 72 ft/lbs per manual

REAR TIRE REMOVAL

1) a 36mm socket is required if your going to torque to specs (not a 34mm, its too small !!)

the finished nuts and bolt, insert the bolt portion into the front tire socket, use the inside nut to loosen and either end can be inserted on tightening

Once I had all the proper tools etc, it was a piece of cake, Ill never get the shop to pull my wheels again... they charge 30 bucks here in Canada to pull the wheels when tires are changed

Now Im going to get my 06 red/black busa Wheels over to the powder coaters to do it in the pazzo red... OPINIONS please on the color... could do in the same red as the tank as well
