Returned after 4 years

Finally got a pic together of what I currently own. The dealer who bought the KTM off me admitted the mechanic almost binned it because he wasn't told it was GP shift! I'll be selling the GSXR in the New Year and haven't decided what I'll replace it with. Got some Yoshi's and a tail tidy coming in for the Hayabusa

Too bad about the Gixxer, it looks great.......I had 2 '85s in that color scheme...

Must be a big difference in riding the two as they are such polar opposites....

Totally different. The GSXR is tiny in comparison, much lighter, with an angrier tune and better handling, Overall, the 1000 accelerates harder, which along with the Woolich flash tuner I installed allows it to easily breach the 300 limiter (the Woolich software lets you disable it). But, the Hayabusa has a lot more grunt from nothing, much better comfort as well as straight line stability. I guess it's like comparing a Porche GT3 to an outrageous German saloon like the AMG C 63. I'll be installing a Woolich flash tuner on the Hayabusa in the New Year.

Look into the Gen 2 cam swaps as well!

And add raising links to the rear to make the Bus handle better

Possibly reflecting my age, I actually like the way it's tuned and handles. The only change I'll make is to add a 55 rear tyre to help it turn in a little better.

A stock Gen 2 turns into corners better than the Gen3
I personally think the steering of the Gen3s is the heaviest of all 3 Gens

Never ridden a Gen 2 so can't comment. But compared to the Gen 1 I once owned, the Gen 3 is hands down a better handling bike.
