couldnt imagine riding with GODSMACK blasting in my ear,I dont think the bike would be able to go fast enough:laugh:

Im always looking around and listening,i think it would be too destracting

On the street I keep the music low enough I can still here what happening around me. On the track in listen to the bands "Two Brothers" or "Micron" playing the song "Well tuned I4".

:laugh:

I never did cause of tipical reasons. but I do however want to try it with just one ear piece in.

cant stand the high volume it requires to hear the music. I have tried it a few times but was about deaf when stopped.

EXACTLY:laugh:

I've never hit the rev limiter so hard as listening to Godsmack passing a chevelle hot rod with a blower sticking out the top.:lol: I was like what the heck is wrong with my bike.....O YAAA I gotta shift:rofl:

started with the chatterbox speaker and now have a regular headset mounted inside the helmet liner. They have a single (black) cord that I plug into my player and it goes in my "money pocket" In Cali stereo headphone in helmets are illegal. The single cord is invis against jacket. A buddy of mine (MikesHardware... deceased on Busa 2004) used to ride with an Ipod. He got pulled over with it on once, cop saw white double cord and pulled him on it.

:laugh: bad enough listening to something like "time bomb" and typing... throw a 150+hp bike into the mix? yeehaw!! "mirrors?, we dont need no stinking mirrors"

Too much wind noise even with ear buds for good sound clarity; so I went back to wax ear plugs

i tried it with the in-earplugs you get with the iPod, found it to be too aggravating. i am willing to try again though, now that i see that type of earplugs most of you are using:beerchug:

Intersting answers. I knew some would ride with tunes and some not. I really like, and for some reason, I rarely turn on the stereo in my truck while driving. Like I said, get into a groove with a good song and before you know it your cruising on down the road.

Did Hal vote for the 8-track? :laugh:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Actually, I had my turntable wired up to the busa and was spinning some 45s, but they kept skipping when hitting bumps!:laugh:

As you may know, I got heat last year for listening to the football game on my walkman. Seems some of the youngsters had only seen one in the Smithsonian:whistle:

I got the last laugh though, a lovely org member gave me an ipod for my birthday when we were in Eureka Springs this year.:thumbsup: She even loaded it with some really cool music! Only problem is when I listen to Rammstein, I find myself going 130 in a 35! Now I listen to tunes all the time while riding.

I roll with my XM Roady in my tank bag and ear buds to my skull. I love it. I actually relax more while listening to bands like Apocaliptica, Seven Dust etc.. But not to loud, I still like to listen to the machine do it thing. I love the Xm set up on the bike, wired straight to the battery so I don't have to spend a forture in AA batterys and I made a metal bracket to mount on the mirror bolts for a place to stick the magnetic antenna.. Best mod yet!!:cheerleader:
