you'll be fine-- stretch those legs out every now and again. You're going to need to stop for gas every few hours anyway, so there's your break built-in. With that said, get a gel or tobin seat, MUCH, MUCH more comfy for longer rides.

Bought a 07 new in Atlanta
Plan to ride it home to San Antonio
This is bike number 11 for me, ain't my first rodayo.
But am I insane, I don't want to take a week to get home.
How will my ass hold up on one of these beautiful machines
down the interstate for hours at a time.
Feedback will be most appreciated.
And looking forward to riding with the Austin SA group.

That's a ride alright but some folks on here such as "Scar" consider that a typical weekend ride! Ride safe and she will take care of you. Comfort wont be an issue.

Just safely move around on the seat when the monkey butt starts, and take a good stretch/break every fuel stop, and you should be fine.
