Robert and I left the house yesterday morning and went on a little trip. I took pictures along the way, even took a video at Bridal Veil falls, all on my cell phone, but some how the phone deleted all my pics and video back to last October, Anyway, we rode to Suches over to Riders Hill in Daloneaga GA, then went to Blood MTN and over to the top of Brass Town Bald, the highest point in Georgia. By this time I was just getting started good and said, hey, lets go to Bridal Veil Falls, so we did. Once we arrived and took some pics, but are now gone,
I asked Robert if he was ready to go home, he said " I am following you" Well, that was just what I wanted to hear, so, off to the Gap we rode.
We rode 28 all the way to CROT, hung out for a while then rode to Robbinsville and ate at Lynns Place just up from the Phillips Motel. Saw Mrs. Reba out front talking it up with her guest of this weekend, she is a great lady. After we finished eating, we geared up and headed for home, across the Skyway. It was almost dark when we started up and by the time we got to the top, it was dark, with just a hint of the days sun in the west. You could see the moon and stars so clearly, and the town of Tellico below. As we stood on the wall from one of the overlooks, the wind was blowing up from the valley below, I thought to myself, how majestic this is. We arrived home just a little before midnight. It was a great ride and a great day.
