I had a Rostra cruise installed on my bike but I couldn't get it to stop surging. Did you guys have any troubles? What do you have the dip switches set at?
I had my switches set at:
1-2 off ( Extra Low Sensitivity)
3-4 on, 5-6 off (8000 PPM)
7 on, 8-9 off (4 Cylinder low)
10 on (Square wave)
11 off (Manual)
12 off (Open circuit switch 250-3592)
I read in another thread Jeff has his set to 16090 PPM:
1-4 off
5-7 on
8-9 off
10 on
11 off
12 on
Increase the gain to low or mid, mid is where they recommend to start. If you have a fast surge go down to low or extra low, if it's a slow surge go up in gain to high.

You might also check the slack in the cable, I had my best results with very little to no slack. But again I have heard from others that it didn't work well with no slack. The only reason I mention it is because it worked for me and it is noted in the FAQ on the Rostra site.
Note: All settings are based on 1/8 inch slack in cable more slack will cause cruise to surge or lose
speed on set.
