First thanks for all the help and suggestions.
Second who da F is 'Big Al' and why is Ogre arguing with him ?
I don't see a single post from Al or any of what is quoted in other posts?
Did a mod clean up my thread ?

Ogre no it's not the first winter for her and I kinda thought it may be cold related but I don't remember it doing same ever before or last year.
Chattanooga I'm running an Xtre on it. A bit under 9k miles and this is first time I've had surging issues. From day one I've ridden with both hi and lo beams on and never had surging like this.

I did recently replace my clutch lever with a new one exactly same as one I took off , a pazzo.

'Theory' ? I noticed last week that the new clutch lever hits the fairing at full lock whereas previous one did not? Curious if this has anything to do with it ?

I'm wondering if somehow it may be different a bit ?
I'm gonna put the old broken lever back on tomorrow and see if that affects it.

Riding it around it just feels ever so slightly 'off'.
Can't describe or tell you exactly how or what but we all know when our steeds aren't feeling well and I kinda get a feeling Blanca has a sniffle :)

I asked my buddy if he narrowed it down some....He said it only does it when he puts the high beam on. he has HID's too and in your video the high beam light is on also. Maybe it is a voltage issue that the ecu doesn't like.

I'll drop it into gear and flip hi beam off to see what if anything changes.
Thanks for the suggestion.

All the posts are in correct numerical order ?
A quick check of BigAlBusa's profile shows all his posts have been purged and he himself has been banned so I can't even answer my own question and read what he said ?
Who was he and how when and where was he in this thread ?
Ogre pm me with the goods , please ?

And I'm with Goatkart my $ is on Ogre.
Anyone who lays their Busa on it's side to change the dogbone and can pick it back up is not one I'd mess with :)

Yeah, your thread got cleaned up.

I'd definitely start with that clutch lever. If nothing else has changed, I'm guessing that's your issue. Do you have the new lever set on the same number (reach distance) as the old one? Try adjusting it so it's as far away from the bar as it'll go, then see if you have the same problem when shifting. Maybe it's set too close and not fully engaging the clutch?

Yes it's set on '3' same as last one.
Wouldnt 'not fully engaging' the clutch cause bike to bog or begin to stall instead of making rpms go up?
Seems strange that it makes rpms go up instead of down ?

my Bessie will run a little higher rpm when shes cold.
besides playing with your clutch, i donno buddy.
maybe run a few tanks through her in a day and see if it might be a fuel thing.?.???

dink with her a little bit and let us know what ya come up with.

Seems that way, but you never know. What bothers me is that you're out riding and I have 8 inches of snow on the ground with roads like ice rinks. :poke:

I hope you can get Blanca settled quickly.
