ya, road trip baby.

The US is real expensive for us dumb fug Canadians to travel thru(the exchange rate) but, what the fug,you only live once.

My plan: Open to suggestion/alteration is this...

Talk MonsterSpeedFreak into goin' with me.
Failing that, I have a couple other friends in mind, but I'll run solo if I have too.

Start in Vancouver,B.C. (around July 30) Head south.

I thought about carrying a cell phone, posting the number up here, that way, anybody that wants to have a beer or hang out for a day or 2 could reach me. That, or internet cafe's, or perhaps even a set plan. I know there's got to be more than one person out there who wants to call Brudah Rubbah a big ol' bastid... face/face.

Problem: no Busa luggage. I have a tank bag,and a Joe Rocket backpack. Thats it. Suggestions/ideas...?

Gear: I was thinkin' my Suzuki textile jacket,my body armour,and my phoenix pants,2 sets of glubs(mesh and Icon leather) and the new Sidi boots(they will probably be too hot,but what can ya do).

This sounds like fun RSD! Just pack a change of duds in the back pack, grab that passport, and head south as you say! I find the possiblity of meeting board members pretty cool,I had the opportunity to meet big BS some time ago,very nice guy! I'm sure there are plenty of members that will put you up, so no need for hotel rooms,If I were near, you'd be welcome anytime! NJ.

LOTS, & LOTS, of twisties... take ya on a 250 mile ride full of mountains, farm lands, and more mountains. .. there might be a lake or two in there also..

if your really a glutton for punishment I can meet up with you somewhere around Knoxville (creekboy and his crew too I would guess) and hit the dragon/sourounding roads and bring ya into virginia the long twistie way.

wear ya out.. and leave you at a hotel 10 minutes from a major interstate to continue on your ride..
