This is the one area I will agree with arch on... its NOT RIGHT that trump tried using that excuse.... what kinda patriot takes this route? that was a mistake... that he has to live with for the rest of his life. A coward dies a thousand deaths.

That wasn't a mistake. He said his Vietnam was dodging STDs at Studio 54. He thinks the people who went to war are stupid, and has said so. He thinks MaCain was a loser for getting shot down. Pretty amazing stuff actually.

he said a lot of things to get elected.... that's how politics work.... candidates makes promises to people who can help them/ and they cater to their base …. politicians will say ANYTHING to get elected/ or to make a joke out of something and minimize their egregious statement... he knows he is a coward for ducking war..... he was young(er) and made a mistake.... but hell never admit it.... he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth... kinda like folks from Virginia... (jk)….

That's an incomprehensibly stupid idea. Not only do they lack life experience, 18 year old brains aren't fully developed yet, particularly the parts of the brain that deal with decision making, much less the brain of a 16 year old.
I wish politicians would research the ideas they promote instead of just opening their mouths.
On the flip side, I am in favor of making the age of voting, drinking and the ability to be drafted the same, seems unfair to potentially send someone off to fight and potentially die for rights that don't extend to them.

Agree and that age should be when you can enlist or be drafted into the military. If we can train them to kill and ask them to die then they should be able to vote, drink, smoke, whatever. I would be open to discussions about raising that age to 21.

If you have convictions of any sort you should have the courage to present them. I understand meeting in a public place. But to honestly think a member of a public tv team would physically hurt you shows a sense of paranoia that you not only believe in the policy's but the fear mongering as well. And that is a sad thing for a person to have been subjected to
I just can not imagine the heights to which division and fear of The Other Guy is going to climb to in 2020.
President Trump if chosen by the party will be the same person he is now. It remains to be seen if the Democrat's can field a conciliatory candidate who can clearly orate ideas and policy's or if they will fight fire with fire and divide the county even further. Americans had grand statesmen in the recent past. I was surprised to see the two chosen candidates put forth in 2016
