Runnin' without a lid...

So what you are saying Pac, is that you want to be a feather duster in Rev's bum? Is that so? You are twisted. Very very twisted, but what ever works for you.

Things put in writing are often left open to the reader's interpretation. I guess that one "backfired" on ya Rev.

LOL!!! You guys are too funny! I damn near pissed myself when I started laughin at this!

Thor....you are definitely one kinky a$$ mo-fugger. Definitely. Perhaps we should take a ride together...as for being a feather duster in Rev's bum, I never do it unless he wants me too. I respect him that much. (blows kisses to Rev)

Rev.....I told you not to share what we do on weekends!! Now look what we done!!

DUDE, You gotta STOP.... This is just above and beyond... Just plain nasty...I think you need help, or maybe just the right kinda Man Whore to keep you occupied....

I'm not the right on thats for sure...

Sick Sick puppy... and now your tarnishing Thor's good name... Best hope he doesn't decide to dust off his Hammer....

Hey!! I didn't tarnish Thor's name! Honestly! He was the one who said I wanted to be a feather duster in your bum. (I have no idea how he got that idea)

And btw...very interesting performance art. Funny thing baout though, is that I was actually getting a visual, but I stopped before I could picture the whole thing.

Well, now..... This has been.........bizare. Very bizare. Visual Art, maybe. A dude on a bike with feathers coming out of his bum, that is just plain,... I am at a loss for words.

On another note, I have noticed lately, that I must watch what I say. It appears that I have been censored recently.

It's all the same. Feathers in your bum, or not. This has given me good laugh. Thanks

I posted on the girl that sold her viginity. I was rude (I guess). My post disappeared. I know my opinions can be..... Harsh. But hey that is what makes us all great. DIVERSITY!!! Oh well.. I guess I'll just have to torture people in other ways. Perhaps someday I'll take my act on the road. Touring only the finest dumpsters everywhere.

I'd be surprised if it was the gaskets, BT.. Brock's instructions say that they usually reuse the original gaskets. Please let us know what you find out.

I guess that the "mad t#at" complained about government? The government is something that I just don't care to comment on. Nothing like a good old audit..... Trust me I know.

nice one, BT. You already needed to replace your gaskets? Mebbe that's something I should look into?

Anyways, good advice. Sometimes I hear a lot of little clicks and stuff when my lid isn't on...
Well, the gaskets would prolly last a long, LONG time unless you take the headers off. I figure they are crush gaskets ( anyone know?
rock.gif
) and maybe the aftermarket exhaust spigots fall a little short of compressing the gaskets as far as the stockers do. I wouldn't worry about pullin' the headers to check the gaskets unless you've got a leak. Just my $.02 though...

I thought about gettin' new ones when I done the install but I was in too big of a hurry to get done. Figured the dealer would have to order them or I'd have to find them online. Should have done it right the first time. Actually, I'm not even sure that's where the leak is, I just figure that's the most likely culprit. Will see this weekend I guess...
Bt, they are not the usual hollow copper crush gaskets (common on Honda). They're hard and have some type of fiber in em'. If your bike was relativly new when you replaced your exhaust they're probably fine. If you had a leak there it would almost sound like a valve tap. I would check around your collector (4-2)-(2-1) connections, also you can try to re-torque your flang. Good luck. Grab.
To grabntwist and Haywood,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll prolly tear it down late tomorrow evening after I get out of training (8 hours of fun with a shotgun! Wooohoooo! Man is my shoulder gonna be sore!
wink.gif
). I had my dealer go ahead and order the gaskets from the Atlanta warehouse just in case. Didn't wanna get 'er tore down and need them only to find out it'll take a week to get 'em.

I'm gonna pull the plastics so I can get to all the joints in the exhaust and listen for it. Hopefully I won't have to pull the headers completely. It'd suck to have to pull the radiator/cooler again for this. I hope yer right grab, maybe it's a collector joint. I'd much rather redo those than pull the header since the weather is supposed to be so damned nice. I'd rather ride than wrench Saturday!
