running rich

thanks to all u guys. im new at this im not sure if i answered every one . i did take it to a so called fi guy an i wasnt impressed he didnt even try to see if any codes come up before he put it on dyno an when he told me that i went an took it back in a nice way. he had a dyno an said its def. running rich an he said it shouldnt do that with just a full muzzy on it. has any one ever tried that cobra fi2000 fuel processor.
Just to let you know that all codes are erased as soon as you turn the key off. He might have known this; that's why he didn't do it.
yeah i do understand but there was alot more to it than that. he trashed my bike while it was there.have you ever heard of any one using the fuel processor?
I'm sure some have ran the cobra unit, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Most normally run a Power commander or have the stock ecu remapped.

+1..The pcIIIusb is the more popular choice. I can't remember why besides the fact that it's what 90% of tuners use so why not purchase what your tuner is use to working with. I think there is better adjustablility with the pc and more add-ons avail. The fi2000 if I remember right just adj.'s the fact. ecu

There are pro's and con's to it. Most people feel the pros for the pc out weigh the pros for the fi2000. If you have multi bikes with full sys. for example than you would only need one fi2000 insead of 2 pc's.

You could do a search here for fi2000 but your more than likely to only read the pros.

good luck. I'll try and dig up some more info later.
