S2000 or Hayabusa?

My buddy is going to pickup a s2000 with a turbo installed. Maybe putting out 450rwhp, what do you think. Could he take the stock busa on a 60mph roll on?

it is all about power to weight ratio at that speed... just do the math. :)

So the busa? I told him i would still spank him like a red-headed step child but he insists that he would tear the busa up.

Stock Busa 165hp and maybe 700lb w/rider? .23 hp lb
S2000 @ 450hp Curb Weight w/turbo 2900lb? .155 hp lb

I would guess you are going to whack him good initially... aerodynamics are going to roll in the faster you go but I am going to put my $$ on the Busa for now.. :) (it is not going to be a blow them off the road spanking, but you are going to put the hurt on him I bet..)

BTW....Time and place for everything ...

I think the S2000 would be too light to take off really well. With that much power, I think he would have a hard time getting the wheels to hook up.

lol....just asked him, only 340, said after a tune and some other stuff he'll be up to 380. So yea, i'm not gonna say anything cause he wants to put money on it.

If he has a stock comptech, vortech, or greddy turbo kit he's only adding about 100hp to the rear for about 340.
Even with 100hp he should be able to launch pretty good, s2000 motors really have no torque (I think only 151lbs stock and about 240 with turbo) all the power is in the upper rpm range, 6k and above.
Busa Wins!!!!!!!!!

if you are a good rider it takes 7-900 rwhp to beat a busa and they better be a damn good driver and they cant mess up on take off or shifting or they are toast.

7-900 my ass... the busa is a great bike and I love my busa but i have awsome power to weight and if a 1000 can still beat me then it doesnt take 900 hp to get the job done. the busa is a top end bike...Mid range it still has to prove itself to a 500hp car. Ive been there many times at a roll and at a stop and thats great looking at the hp to weight numbers but now break down the ft/lbs numbers and shift point to rpm numbers and see where the busa is in comparision.

 they would need even more if you throw a pipe and a tune on the busa

s2000 stock has the largest horsepower per liter of any production car, but
i will so no it will not beat a busa.
the gear ratio in s2000 is horrible, and if he is going to use the stock gear ratio , might as well take off on third gear!
is this drag race or roll on? i say he has no chance either way.
