So I bought the bike, and these parts were part of the deal. Not installed, brand new Sato Racing Reverse Shift and lowering pegs. I have come to the conclusion that I am not comfortable with the reverse shift idea. What I do like is that I can lower and push the pegs back. Question is, is it possible to keep this set up and reverse the reverse shift by flipping the gear shift bracket upside down? Or am I going down a rabbit hole?
If so what is available to lower and move both pegs back, I am 6'3" and the stock set up is not going to work for me! I hate to sell the bike, but if I cannot lower these pegs I will have no choice, it is extremely uncomfortable to ride at me leg length. TIA!!

Heli bars and use those lowering pegs. Might be super comfy for u

Hard to say without pics but pretty sure u can flip it for regular shift

found out from Sato that I have to have three new parts to make this work for the regular shift. In the meantime I am noticing that this set up does not really lower the pegs much at all, it is more for the reverse shift than it is for lowering the pegs. Thinking I will remove these and look for something else to truly provides lower pegs, suggestions on what you have used that works?

A possible option would be this type of spacer.
These are for older Gsxrs, and I'm not sure if anyone makes them for a Busa, or if the frame's mounting bolt spacing is any different between certain years of Gsxrs vs the Busas(all 3 Gens of Busas are the same), but these aren't hard to fabricate either, just be mindful of midpipe to heel clearance.
I may use a set on my Gsxr1k as the Vortex rearsets for it don't adjust down.
Or, I have also considered drop pegs on the Vortex rearsets, as the Vortex pegs(and most aftermarket rearsets) are threaded, and have a bolt going through the reaset bracket to attach them.
So if I can find the right diameter peg mount on a drop peg, or drill out the bracket, I may be able to simply bolt them on.
Some of the drop-pegs are splined and clockable too.
I'm going to see what I can come up.with in the next few months as I get back to this project bike, and am not using stock footpegs.
