SCOOP !? new ZZR 1400 for 2010 !

That's a great correlation! I was just thinking how awful the side fairings look! And the rear does look like the old Katana. NO THANKS!

#1 on these opinions....I had fondled myself thinking of the Concours....but, the fins look tackey and cheap. The busa plastics and overall design is much sleeker. I am not an owner YET....but, the Busa look has grown on me and IMHO the best looking bike out there in this class.

Sure better that this....

Don't forget Ducati killer!!!

And that guy with the Cow bike had too much time and money on his hands:rofl:

Or it was a Suzuki owner poking fun:laugh:

The young machine picture is photochopped, but kawi played with several different engine designs for the new 14 including a small compact v-8, and a factory turbo. They decided on the supercharger because of the strong low end it gives, and they already have experience with supercharging their top of the line jetski, and can manage the emmissions much easier. They're supposedly keeping the hp lower for legal reasons, but its going to be a whole new engine design.....again supposedly slightly smaller in displacement from the current engine to keep weight and heat issues down. They were actually considering this idea back before the 14 came out. Hopefully this will start up a new era in the hyperbike class  The car industry is switching over to turbo's and supercharging to get great power while keeping engines smaller, and still getting good cruising mileage. I think this is just the beginning of the same thing for the bike industry :beerchug:

You guys are entertaining, hehe, so many of you are talking about how ugly the ZX14 is? And that should come from you, Hayabusa owners? You shouldn't throw stones when you're inside a glass house...

Don't get me wrong, I like the Hayabusa - but not for its good looks! You often hear people talking about it as "fast", "powerful engine", but I've NEVER heard anyone say that the Hayabusa is beautiful. Never. Except here...

I currently ride a ZX-10R and am looking at a bigger bike. I've tried the Hayabusa, the ZX14 and the BMW K1300S. I think the Hayabusa is the sportiest of them, but its breaks before 2008 suck and the steering feels odd (prolly just not used to it).

Of these three, the ZX14 is the best looking say most people. But neither look as good as a sport bike. Touring is touring, all these are comfy and fast.

You don't understand and we have no time to explain it to you.

I think you are on the wrong forum :moon:

now i havent been all over this fine country of ours..and i understand there has been a lot more years of hayabusa production than the zx-14 but apples to apples i have seen outside this forum alot more gen2 busas compared to 2 count them 2 zx-14's and that i think spells it out pretty simply:moon:

Hey Troll, your bridge is calling.... :moon:

Plus, any brake system can be upgraded. My Gen1 that I just sold stopped great with it's waverotors, brakelines and HH pads.

it lists power as 193 ps, which is roughly 193 hp. no way they supercharged it and it only makes 193 hp.

Man that thing is uglier than mansex. The looks are why I didn't consider the 14r to catfishy.
