Here are so more shots, but from the front. The left is obvious, but notice on the right where a part has crumbled away on the bottom, and a crack is forming above it. Also look to the left of the arrow showing a crack. See the crumbled out effect?
I'm not saying my wife didn't drop it, but I know I didn't, and she really never gets anything from that shelf. I think it would be pretty hard to drop the helmet and get both sides to look like this without screwing the center piece up.
