Second gear slip again !

id say stop butt dropping it from 3rd down into second when your trying to catch up with those girls in the mustang convertibles and you wont be tearing up 2nd gear anymore...lol
or was you making sure the 14 stayed in your mirror? come on you can tell us:poke:
 bet your glad 4 the extended warranty

best $400 I ever spent

My 06 is doing the second gear slip right now and i am hearing popping, grinding, and ticking in any gear when i am coasting in neutral, the clutch is also at the end of the throw on the clutch lever. I know I need to get new plates and springs ! Will that fix the popping out of gear in 2nd {now its at around 4k rolling into the throttle) or am i going to need some transmission work..... and if so what would be the best route to take ?

You mean....."and so will the 06"

Glad its covered. How much would a repair like that cost if you had to pay for it?

between $1200 and $1500. ask me how i know. but thats with the undercut gears, not stock stuff.

I am just wondering why the 2nd gear problem pops up so often, even on Gen 1? I understand that part of the blame goes to the design.
