Shift Problem

Just encountered a problem when shifting from 3rd to 4th at mid to high RPMs.  It has a neutral type issue, and it starts clicking...  Must be in between gears.  

I can even replicate it I need to.  

Am I not shifting (lifting) hard enough or is it definitely a manufacturing/warranty issue?

you have to shift it like you mean it or it will hit that false neutral every time.

I just got a 06' and the first week I had it happen a few times when I was out. I was hoping it was just a issue of me not being used to the bike. I know it scared the crap outta me when it happened! OMG! What did I just do?!*!
