wassup guys, so Im not sure how to explain this but here goes, I have a 09 hayabusa and it only has 4600kms on it and i have noticed that one a few occasions when i come up to a red light and put the bike in neutral to stretch i doesnt want to go into first unless i roll the bike forward or back, then she goes into gear, doesnt happen very often, just when i coast to a light in neutral or put it into neutral. Is this a normal thing and if so and tips?

It's normal.
Try letting the clutch out just a little and it'll usually go right into gear.:beerchug:

Yes it is normal as was stated, just let the clutch out a bit and it will go into gear. Sitting in nuetral all the gearing in the trans stops spinning, so when you try to go into gear it is not lined up correctly. Once you let the clutch out a tad and then pull it back in will spin up the gears and it will shift into 1st pronto with a clunk.

My first street bike was a '73 Kawi 250, and it and every bike I've owned did the same. I use the clutch to get it in gear. I don't sit at lights in neutral. I place my bike slightly out from behind the vehicle in front of me if I can and watch my mirrors. Leaving it in gear gives me a better chance of avoiding that rear ending accident.
